Takes the work out of changing the key of your song

Introduction

If, like me, you need to change the key of songs quite often this simple little device will make life easy for you. It only takes 5 or 10 minutes to construct and it can save you a lot of time when trying to calculate key changes.

Construct your Transposition Wheel

• Print out the two wheels below.
• Poke a hole in the centre of both wheels.
• Cut around the small wheel and place it over the centre of the large one.
• Push a brad (paper fastener) through the centre of both wheels so that the small one can rotate inside the large one.

HINT: If you have a problem printing out the wheels save them by right clicking on each of them and choosing "Save Picture". Print them out using a graphics program.

If you use this device as often as I do you might want to print it on card and cover it with clear sticky plastic so that it lasts.
